Introducing The Full Groom

We offer a full body styling service for most coat types. This includes a bath with a double cleansing shampoo, dry and brush through, nail and paw pad trim, as well as styling to your preference. 

This service is not for short, smooth or hairless dogs. For that, you want our bath and brush. This is designed for all other coat types where the hair needs to be made shorter. This is done with clippers and scissors. Blades give a short and smooth finish, where comb attachments on the clippers leave a fluffier and longer finish. 

For some coat types and breeds, it is not appropriate to clip the coat, this needs to be scissored. Clipping these coats would cause coat funk, but there will be a longer post on that in the future. 

Some dogs don't enjoy the grooming experience, for many reasons. They may be anxious, nervous or fearful. We discuss potential triggers with you and will prioritise your dog's comfort. 

We have worked with many dogs that have objected to parts of the service, but with honest discussions, patience and a lot of kindness, they get there in the end. 

Adaptations can easily be made, and with my 1-1 salon and style, this is something that I am passionate about. 

It is recommended for wool coats like Cockapoos, Cavachon and Shih Tzu breeds to have full grooms every 8 weeks. This helps to keep the coat knot free, a manageable length and monitor their skin health. 

For double coated breeds such as Retrievers, Collies and long haired German Shepherds this is more like 8-12 weeks depending on their shedding. 

Silky coats like Spaniels and Yorkshire terriers, it is again 8-12 weeks depending on the coat and style. 

The pricing for this service is from £45 for smaller breeds, £50 for medium breeds, £60 for larger breeds and £70 for the giant breeds.
